Join the student art competition for an opportunity to showcase your talent and to win a cash prize. This competition is open for all Baldwin County Middle School and High School students.
Create your own art piece using a canvas provided by the Fairhope Arts and Craft Festival. Your artwork
should reflect Fairhope and incorporate the 2026 Festival theme "Classic Fairhope: A Study in Black and White" using Fairhope as your inspiration.
The top 30 submissions will be displayed during the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Artist Awards Dinner where they will be judged by the artists participating in the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival.

Eligibility
- Open to Baldwin County Middle School and High School students
- Solo or group submissions are allowed
Canvas Requirements
- Artwork must be completed on 16x20 canvas and be ready to hang.
- Artwork must not not exceed 16x20 inches in size
- Any medium
- Canvas will be provided and can be picked up at
M&M Bank, 325 Fairhope Ave, Fairhope AL
Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm

Submission Deadline
- January 30, 2026
- Submit your information and image format or PDF of your artwork before deadline above.
Exhibition & Voting
- All submissions will be juried based on creativity, technical skill, and rules followed.
- The op 30 submissions will be displayed at the Artist Awards Dinner during the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival.
- You will be notified by early February if your piece is selected to be on display and judged for prizes.
- We will notify you where to drop of your piece if you are accepted.
- Voting will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026 during the Artist Awards Dinner by participating Festival artists.
- The top 10 pieces will be displayed at Fairhope Chocolate after the 2027 festival.
Prizes
- 1st Place: $1000
- 2nd Place: $750
- 3rd Place: $500
When you are ready, please complete your submission
Make sure the finished art piece is on a 16x20 canvas and ready to hang.
Complete the submission form and attach a picture of the artwork for initial jurying. The upload file can be any image format (JPEG, HEIC etc.) or a PDF. The file size may not exceed 2MB!
The form needs to be signed by a parent or guardian consent if your are 18 or under.
Your submission with a photo of the completed piece needs to be received by by the submission deadline: January 30, 2026.
You are responsible for delivering and picking up your artwork on the designated dates. We will notify you where to drop of your piece if you are accepted.
